Now that the weather is cooler and you're well into this season's mushing, don't forget one of the most important seasonal tasks: renewing your membership to the Pacific Sled Dog and Skijor Association.
Without PSDSA and your support, you would not be able to enjoy the Chemult races; the Experience the Next Level races; the Bachelor Butte Dog Derby races; the Sisters Dry Land races or the club publication Quick Release. Where else can your $20 be put to better use?
Please renew/join today
. Attached is the PSDSA Membership Application. Feel free to forward this information to other mushers.
Thanks and see you on the trail

Bend Bulletin coverage of the La Pine Mushing Weekend
11/8-10/2013 annual "La Pine Mushing Weekend" in La Pine, OR. I apologize that this is the first official announcement of the event on the lists, when usually I start putting word out in April....... Many of you who are "repeat offenders" have already made your plans and reservations.... for those of you who haven't, come join us and be prepared for a fun-filled, dog running, story swapping weekend! There is no "fee" for the event but there will be a small "chip in" for the meeting hall costs.
The official event is on Saturday, Nov 9th, and Sunday, Nov 10th . Many of us will be arriving on Friday, the 8th, to get set up and ready for a fun-filled weekend. Since that Monday is the Veteran’s Day holiday, a lot of us will stay and run dogs on Monday morning before heading home.
Remember to manage your dogs so that they are reasonably quiet while in camp and also remember to fill in holes and pick up poop or straw in your campsite; we want to remain welcome guests!
See the announcement and details on the “upcoming” page on my website -
Hope to see you there!!
